25 October 2006- QI Group MD, Mr. Vijay Eswaran has been conferred with the honorary title of Dato' by the Sultan of the State of Pahang in Malaysia. This is a great honour in Malaysia and this title has been awarded to him in recognition of his contribution to the economic growth of the State of Pahang.

The QI Group under his leadership has invested in a RM 100 million resort development project in Kuala Rompin in Pahang that upon completion will give Pahang's tourism industry a major boost. The investiture where the Sultan will confer the title and present the awards will take place before the end of this year. Henceforth, Mr. Vijay Eswaran will be known as Dato' Vijay Eswaran.
